Unserem Operator <strong>Uwe, DL2YAK<\/strong>, gelang die erfolgreiche Verbindung mit dem seltenen DXCC-Land <strong>Belize<\/strong>. Gearbeitet wurde die Station <strong>V31DL<\/strong>, in der Betriebsart <strong>FT8<\/strong> im 20m-Band. Die Best\u00e4tigung der Verbindung erfolgte k\u00fcrzlich \u00fcber eine <strong>eQSL<\/strong> (siehe Bild).<br><strong>Belize<\/strong> ist ein kleines, aber faszinierendes Land in <strong>Mittelamerika<\/strong>, das im Osten an die <strong>Karibische See<\/strong> grenzt. Es liegt zwischen <strong>Mexiko<\/strong> im Norden und <strong>Guatemala<\/strong> im Westen und S\u00fcden. Trotz seiner \u00fcberschaubaren Gr\u00f6\u00dfe bietet Belize eine bemerkenswerte landschaftliche Vielfalt \u2013 von tropischen Regenw\u00e4ldern \u00fcber weitl\u00e4ufige Korallenriffe bis hin zu Maya-Ruinen. Belize ist das einzige Land in Mittelamerika, dessen Amtssprache <strong>Englisch<\/strong> ist. Es z\u00e4hlt zu den seltener aktivierten DXCC-Gebieten, was es f\u00fcr Funkamateure besonders interessant macht.
